Hello, I am Pamela.  The voice behind Flower Patch Farmhouse, an informative yet creative blog about simple gardening, a bit of DIY, and easy recipes so you can get back to your garden.

But mostly I share my love of gardening and how you can enjoy your garden. Even the tiniest of spaces can be transformed into your little paradise.

I have gardened for 4 decades, yes, I am that old, and I want to share what I have learned along the way. You can learn from my mistakes and adventures in the garden so you don’t need to waste time making them yourself!

I am a real gardener, not a writer scraping the internet via AI just to present an article for $$$. I am amazed at how much junk is now on the internet about gardening that is not only ineffective, and false but can potentially be harmful to you but mainly our dear earth.

You can’t truly learn about gardening merely by reading about it and how do you flush out what was written by a robot or a writer who never stepped foot in a garden and the real thing? You watch the writer personally do it!

Introducing my YouTube Channel where I take you on tours of my garden, share how I go about a garden chore, and other fun inspirational things. (there is no faking this!)

Not only do I share my garden successes but I also tell you about my failures. Trust me, you will have failures, but that is part of the learning curve.

I began sharing on the internet back in 2008, I saw a need for easy-budget gardening methods, DIY projects, and practical recipes anyone can do so Flower Patch Farmhouse was born. (it actually started as Backwoods Cottage)
