When nothing is sure inspiration.
When I spotted this quote in Instagram the other day it just fit. (for a higher resolution download, CLICK HERE)
Thank you everyone for your input on my last post rant. I recently read that when your thoughts become a massive jumble and it is wearing you down to write them out, even if they make little sense or they ramble with not much cohesiveness. And even though the article said to do it for 3 days in a row, I did not get to do it that many times.
I have to admit though that writing what I did actually helped to calm my brain from its whirling and make things a little less overwhelming. So if life starts to run me over again….you will get to hear about it.
Whether you like it or not. <g>
I think this photo below will be my next inspiration choice, the caption will read “Dare to be Different” or something comparable.Doesn’t the green eyed Rudbeckia draw your eye. Not because it is flashier than the others, but because it is different. Every now and then, the flowers of my garden surprise me. These are all self sown from last years blooms so they inter pollinate and come up with their own versions.
I received lots of enjoyable emails and comments from so many of you that enjoyed my less than professional video of a bit of my gardens. I am glad you liked it so much. Now I am inspired to try to improve and do many more for you. If I master the videoing and walking at the same time it will really improve your ability to enjoy my gardens with me. Maybe I will do a chicken one too.
I often post short video clips to my Instagram and Facebook pages. You can always follow me there to see more the very short video clips.

This photo of my view from the house I was cleaning on Monday was a hit with everyone on Facebook and Instagram. Though I get to see this when I look out from my drudgery, I would rather be the gal down on the beach with the towel getting ready to lounge in the sand! Sweet summer fun is just a few steps away.
We are headed out for a quick trip for a few days, but I know my garden nemesis will probably do a wee bit of plant trimming while I am away.
The Rascals! Here they are high tailing it back into the woods after I caught them eying my roses and I walked outside to scold them.
I am very careful and don’t get too close, they can get mean. A friend of ours was awakened last week when his dog was being attacked by a raging doe. I think he got to close to her fawn and she was not going to put up with it. She put the hurt on that dog. So though they are lovely creatures they can be quite mean and dangerous.
Amongst all the chaos lately I did manage to get this sign painted for a customer. She has been of so very patient and I appreciate that. We both loved the result, it turned out so happy looking.
I hope you enjoy your week. I will be sure to share photos of our trip on Facebook and Instagram as we go.
I leave my chickens, kitty and house in good hands, thank you Mom.
When I get back I will get busy with more painting tutorials. I had a request for Bird of Paradise. That sounds like a fun one so I will give it a go.
Another thought I had is to provide a DVD with several of my tutorials on it, many do not have high speed internet and viewing videos on YouTube can be a challenge. I would keep it affordable and there would be at least 5 tutorials on each DVD. I need to look into it further and see what it all entails.
What do you think? Would there be enough interest to warrant my time and effort?
Have a Great Week!

Pamela,
I think, besides the flowers, that one of the things that is so charming about the video is that it is like walking with a friend. It wasn’t staged, it was real, and I’m get so tired of everything being so perfect in the media. No one lives with perfection. I know you want the painting videos to be professional, but the walk in the garden was supremely relaxing. I enjoyed it and didn’t have to compare my garden to yours in my head. I just took a breath and walked in the sun with you. I vote for a chicken video. Tell us about your experience having them, such as, are you getting enough eggs, do you hate cleaning the pen, do they fight, etc. ~Ginene

Thank you, Ginene. That is exactly what I hoped the video tour would be. Since I know what it looks like in real life I just want everyone to get to see the awesome beauty of it all. I will have tons of fun doing one of my chickens, they are my Ladies and full of personality. Online I found a device to hold the camera with that makes it more steady so I shall see if it helps. I will be sure the share more soon. Cheers! Pamela

I know what you mean when you say all your thoughts are a jumble. I have the same problem.
I drive a Transit Bus for a living. We drive 8-9 hrs./day. When I get home, I’m so tired I can’t think. Then it hits me in the middle of the night! The mind is going 100 miles/hr. and I jump out of bed wide awake! Run to the computer, and write and write and write. When I’m done it is a real jumble, but boy do I feel Better. It take me many rewrites to get it straightened out.
So I agree, everyone should take your advice and Write, calms the mind, and just makes ya feel better. This may be your most creative hour.
Thank you for the great Blog. I look forward to reading and looking at it. Love all the beauty that you share with us, and the bonus is, it makes ya feel better. Thanks, Donna
