Welcome August, no I am not ready for Fall!
Welcome August!
August is here and my garden starts a new phase. It is one of my most favorite months of the year, it is so warm and sunny which I and my garden flourish in.
The “no I am not ready for Fall” statement is in response to all the pumpkin, autumn decor and Halloween ads popping up in my email now. Be gone from my sight and let me enjoy the height of Summer in peace! Why rush it? Summer will be here for nearly 2 more months let’s just enjoy it shall we.
The first blooms of the daisies are done and they have been dead headed and ready for re blooming. But in their place for now are all the Echinacea’s.
White Swan

and Common Coneflower.

I need to plant some in the Secret Garden so it can be as equally sweet…lets enter through here..

And it just keeps getting better. I think I need to hire someone to come help me whip it back into order, it is getting away from me!
I have been gone for 5 days and my Morning Glories have doubled in size and are taking over like that plant in Little House of Horrors. 🙂
Your garden is looking great!
Beautiful pics. I love your morning glories and vintage roses!
thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. the painted ones as well are the ones in the garden. Angela
I love sharing my garden as much as I love growing it. Thank you for your kind words. I have plenty more where this came from!
Welcome Tenneil, I always try to savor Summer, it is my favorite time of year and is much too short. My husbands swears I was born to live somewhere tropical and warm, I tend to agree.
The morning glories have really taken over, I am having to go weed some out, they are threatening to engulf my roses! Not a bad problem to have though. 😀
Enjoyed every bit of your garden! Thank you for sharing with us.
Beautiful. So relaxing to look at the photos. I’m also trying to take in every last bit of summer!! Stopping by from Inspire Me Tuesday. I’ll look for a follow button.
