Paint Tulip Leaves
I had fun making this How to Paint Tulip Leaves tutorial, mainly because I just kept pressing on until I liked my result. That is how I paint all the time but don’t always show that in my videos.
I have a couple other posts on leaves, even one one that goes with my original How to Paint Tulips tutorial I shared a couple years ago. (can it really be that long?) I also have a post on just Leaves alone for you to refer to and I try to include leaves in each flower painting tutorial.
So why do another? Because I show in this tutorial how you can take it a bit further and change the shape or impression of a leaf to make it look like it is curving.
I am still working on the entire video for the Paint Tulips in a Mason Jar. I keep reviewing it and not liking the result and redoing it. I think I am getting too picky.
I need to learn to be content with my less than professional videos and just share then you can see how many times I have to fix what I do. That might be more encouraging for many than showing the pristine retakes.
In the meantime here is the video on Painting Tulip Leaves.
For a larger HD version of the video visit the end of this post or my YouTube Channel (click the link in the sidebar)
Last week I posted the how to on painting just the mason jar, it is easier than you think and you get to see me do it again in my full length video but until then here is the video for your convenience.
Have fun watching and painting along. I can’t wait to show you the entire video.
