I Love You More Than Coffee Monday Inspiration

I wanted to share a fun one today.  I was going thru my photo collection (that I really need to back up to an external drive and free up space on my hard drive) and stumbled upon this beauty.  The lovely lady staring into the camera seemed to be saying something…maybe this..
I Love You More Than Coffee, FlowerPatchFarmhouse.comMy ladies here are enjoying their morning cuppa (really hen scratch) before they free range around the yard and eliminate any bugs that may be lurking.
Can you believe another week is beginning??
I am currently editing and getting ready to upload the full length Hydrangea Painting video I promised oh so long ago.  I will attach it to my Hydrangea Painting post when I get the video up and running on YouTube.

I am still having fun making clay tags.  This time I did paint Roosters on them.
Clay tags with Roosters, FlowerPatchFarmhouse.comI still need to put a protective coat of varathane on them and I do have one more done, another black rooster so it makes it a full set of four.  I couldn’t get a decent photo of that one as the rain came in making it too dark, even though it is only 2 in the afternoon.
Enjoy Your Monday…one more chicken photo before I go..
Swedish Flower Hen, FlowerPatchFarmhouse.comThis is Flora, the single remaining Hen from my Swedish Flower Hens.  I had two but one, sadly, met her demise with a raccoon attack not long ago.    She is a beauty and worth sharing.

Happy December 1st!

  1. Morning Pamela,
I don’t know how I missed this post, but I have to tell you that photograph is wonderful. I would buy that it is so delightful.
    Glad you found it again.

  2. Thank you Diane, it seemed to fit this photo. 🙂

  3. I made them from air dry clay. I really should do an entire post on making them. They are so fun and easy. I have heard guinea hens are great and don’t have a tendency to dig up things as badly as chickens can. Though we love our fresh eggs we get, I can never go back to store bought again.

  4. She is a beauty! Love your tags too! Are they made with polymer clay? I seen a recipe for homemade porcelain I would like to try someday.

I was wanting to get some Guineans when we bought our new house, heard they made good watch dogs, eat a ton of bugs and kill snakes. But I don’t know anything about them.

  5. Very cute I love the saying!
