Hello Sweet November
Saturday morning we got our first snow. Not much, just a dusting but it was enough that the deer visiting my neighbors apple trees had to snuffle around before finding the bounty of apples that had fallen. The white snow was such a contrast to the brightly colored leaves of the Dogwoods. I should’ve whipped out the zoom lens so you could see the deer better but I was in a hurry.
October flew by as every month seems to do lately. Here are a few highlights on the blog.
I shared some great resources to starting your own blog or website…I am still researching and testing monetizing and that report will come soon.
I had to prune my climbing roses and shared with everyone, it is different than pruning bush roses.
Painting tutorials are one of my favorite things to share here and I added a new How to Paint a Pansy tutorial with video. (still working on that hydrangea one)
I have started to share more recipes, I am switching up some of the old favorites and I share my successes, I am also testing out new recipes I have saved to my Pinterest Boards. The losers you shan’t be bothered with so I won’t share those.
For more recipes click the Recipes tab in the menu bar at top.
October was filled with Autumn color. It was a great year for the trees. Some years they don’t seem to color up as pretty but this year was a good one. And mums were prevalent. My little white pumpkins were a lot of fun to decorate with. I think they got frozen Saturday night so I am not sure they will last much longer. But we shall see.
I am looking forward to November, I am back working on the mountain but I will attempt to keep up here as well. Until next time…
