Great Painting Projects for Fall
It is August already, Summer sure flies for me. I am outside every minute I can be. Many are facing school starting soon if they have not already and that puts everyone (it seems) in the Fall mood. So that you all have a jump on your Fall here are some great painting projects for Autumn aka Fall!
My harvest sign is one of my top visited posts right now. I think it is because the caption is paint signs without stencils. It is easy to do and you are not limited in size or design. The post contains a link to download the letters to create your own sign. Choose whatever background and lettering colors you prefer.
I focused on maple type leaves in this post but I am going to add Oak shaped leaves soon as well as a more simplified way to do the maple leafs, for those that have a hard time with this method. It is on my long list of projects to work on and it is perfect for the upcoming Fall months. There is a link to download the leaf shape and a video to see how the brush moves on this leaf.
What Fall project or decor is complete without pumpkins. They are super easy to paint and you can switch up the colors to match your decor.
This sweet little Chickadee is perfect to add to any of your projects, paint him with leaves or pumpkins or both as I did in the project below! He is super fun to paint, even for the beginner!
This sign is 6 feet tall, so quite a statement and it incorporates many of my painting tutorials. The lettering is available to download and there are links to each motif tutorial, even how to get the distressed finish on your board.
Ever popular are the sunflowers. I am working on another project which includes these bright lovelies so stayed tuned for that.
I wish you Happy Fall projects and enjoy the rest of your Summer, I am going out to the garden and soak it all in.
Happy Great Painting Projects for Autumn!
