Favorite Painting YouTube Channels
I have learned to paint by books, practice and videos. I have only ever been to one painting class and that was to become certified to teach. When I started I only could buy VHS tapes of video tutorials and though that may make me sound ancient it really is not that long ago.
Now there are plenty of great YouTube channels that offer painting tutorials for absolutely Free and I am going to share some of my favorite painting YouTube channels. I truly appreciate these artists as I know from experience how much work goes into producing a video and to provide it for free is extremely generous.
I follow several but for today I am just going to highlight a few YouTube channels and a blog/website I enjoy for inspiration.
First up is Angela Anderson..here is a link to her Gallery Website: Fine Art Paintings by Angela Anderson
And her YouTube Channel is (click on the photo and it will take you directly to her channel)
Please remember, if ever you want to use any of the tutorials for a profit making venture (like paint parties) you MUST contact the artist to get a license. Please read any and all disclosures connected with the painting tutorials so you are always on the up and up.
I am anxious to do Angela’s Poppy inspired by Georgia O’Keefe.
Another artist I have been following and am envious of her boundless energy is Lindsay of The Frugal Crafter. She shares not only acrylic painting tutorials but also oils and watercolors.
She makes me want to try oils even more than I already do.
Last but not least today is Jane of Pandemonium Art
I love her barns and flowers against a fence.
As for someone whose blog and art I just enjoy and get inspiration from visit My Painted Garden. The name alone had me wanting to visit and it is a perfect reflection of her colorful, happy art.
Happy Painting! I hope you enjoy some great new inspirations to paint.
