Dreams Don’t Work Unless You Do
Happy Monday!
We had another wet and snowy (sloppy wet snow) Sunday, which is a good thing. The ski resort hopes to open Thanksgiving weekend and with the way the weather is cooperating that looks to be a very viable goal.

I spent a good portion of last week in my studio painting on a few signs and some barrel staves.
My chickadee painting is already listed in the SHOP and I am planning on adding to the shop this coming week.
This is my Hand Painted Hummingbird on a Barrel Stave. Once I weigh and measure this one for shipping I will add it to the shop too, probably tomorrow.
I had a really hard time getting a decent photo of it. The colors are so subtle against the rustic wood background.
I am painting a snowman group on another. It is very bright and cheery.
I have a cardinal drawn out for the next. I am not sure why I am enjoying painting on the barrel staves, maybe it is their rustic appearance and great texture. The end result is so unique.
I wish you happy painting!

What pretty birds the chickadee is a favorite of mine. We had snow last week, then it turned warm, now snow is on it's way again.

It has snowed the past two weekends, then stayed cold so it has all turned to ice. The ski resort is planning on opening next weekend to cash in on it. They are also making snow since the temps haves stayed so low. One thing nice about getting these little storms is the rain has been soaking into the ground and not just running off.
